Prerequisites: EESC W4887.

Application of stable and radioisotopes to topics in terrestrial, ocean, and environmental sciences and advanced principles of mass spectrometry: course covers radiometric dating techniques with an emphasis on radiocarbon and the uranium-series, production of cosmogenic radionuclides, study of stable isotopes in the hydrosphere, atmosphere, and lithosphere.  Mass spectrometry operation and hands on isotope laboratory experiments.  Clean lab techniques and Th/U dating project.
